    “Belgian born Master Chef Daniel Joly graduated from the Culinary Institute of Brussels in 1986. He trained at the best tables of renowned Belgian Michelin start restaurants, such as ”Comme Chez Soi” and Barbizon. After a short stop in South Carolina, Daniel arrived in Beaver Creek as chef- manager for Mirabelle Restaurant in 1992. He and his wife Nathalie purchased Mirabelle at Beaver Creek in April 1999, Mirabelle and Chef Joly’s unique cooking style have been acclaimed by numerous publications and institutions such as Wine Spectator, the James Beard House, Zagat, Mobile (four stars), Ski Magazine and Bon Appetit, to mention just a few. Chef Joly also have many appearances in food and wine, TV interview “IS always Something’s Cooking with Daniel””.

A 5-minute, Village Connect ride away sits Beaver Creek village…..

  • The Town of Avon offers paved recreational paths around Nottingham Park, along the Eagle River, and throughout town. Also, dirt single-tracks trails are on the northwest side of town in the West Avon Preserve.

    The paved pathways and the dirt trails provide opportunities to walk, jog or bike while enjoying the town's mountain landscape.

  • The Eagle River is about 60 miles long and flows in west-central Colorado. A tributary of the Colorado River, Eagle River’s headwaters are located near the Continental Divide.

    Kayaking on the river near Eagle is best for people with experience, as parts of it are rocky and require knowledge of how to navigate the path.

    Rafting is also very popular on this stretch of the Eagle River and guided trips are offered between May and July.

  • The Town of Avon's Nottingham Lake is the focal point of many summer and winter activities in the park.

    The Park Includes:

    • 48 acres of open space

    • Nottingham Lake for fishing, pedal-boating, and SUP (Stand-Up-Paddle board)

    • Two (2) athletic fields which are available to rent based on availability

    • Children's playground

    • Beach and swim area

    • Picnic tables and Barbecue grills

    • Two (2) tennis courts on the west end of the park

    • Six (6) pickleball courts

    • Tennis, pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts are used on a first come, first serve basis

    • The Pavilion is a year round cultural and entertainment venue that can host festivals, concerts, art exhibitions, theater performances, educational events and private functions, year round.
